We organize ski mountaineering trips and tours, adapting the activity to the level of the participants. Here are some suggestions:

Antelao

At the top of the King of the Dolomites at 3264 meters above sea level. Departure from the Scotter refuge above San Vito di Cadore or at the base of the ski lifts at an altitude of approximately 1200 metres.

Travel times: 7/8 hours per climb; 2/3 hours for the descent.

Where: Cadorine Dolomites – Antelao Group

Difficulty: long, demanding and mountaineering trip with technical climbing sections; required OSA level (excellent ski mountaineer with excellent off-piste ascent and descent technique on steep terrain and mastery of using crampons and ice axe). Positive altitude difference 1700 metres, negative altitude difference 1700 meters (about 300 meters more uphill and downhill if you start from the San Vito di Cadore ski lifts)

Number of participants: maximum 2 people

Cost of the trip: 550 euros

Mulaz

Classic and coveted itinerary in the wild environment of the Pale di San Martino. Departure at the entrance to Val Venegia (altitude 1678 metres) which continues up to the Venegiota mountain hut. After passing through the Mulaz Pass, you climb the steep blade and follow the delicate traverse to the top at 2906 metres: here we will ring the famous bell of the summit bell tower to celebrate and we will enjoy the spectacular view of the Pale di San Martino. Beautiful downhill skiing along the uphill route or along the long Focobon valley towards Falcade.

Travel times: 4 and a half hours for the ascent and approximately 2 hours for the descent (2 and a half hours if you go down the Focobon valley).

Where: Pale di San Martino Group

Difficulty: medium; required level BS (good skier) with good off-piste ascent and descent technique. Positive altitude difference of approximately 1200 meters and 1200 meters downhill (if you go down the Focobon valley the altitude difference is 1700 metres)

Number of participants: minimum 1 – maximum 6 people

Cost of the trip: 450 euros

The cost includes the accompanying Alpine Guide, RC insurance and rental of the avalanche self-rescue kit.
The cost does not include the fare of the taxi or the ski lifts up to Col Margherita if you choose to go down the Focobon valley.

Col Toronn

We start from the Gardena pass (altitude 2121 metres) and after crossing the Cir pass you reach the Crespeina pass. From here you quickly reach the summit (2655 metres) from which you can admire a breathtaking view of the Sella and Sassolungo groups and the Ampezzo Dolomites. The descent takes place along the beautiful Val Chedul up to Vallunga in Selva di Val Gardena.

Travel times: 3 hours for the ascent and 2 hours for the descent.

Where: Gardena Dolomites – Puez Group

Difficulty: medium; A fair amount of off-piste ascent and descent technique is required (MS – BS level, medium – good skier). Positive altitude difference of approximately 500 meters and negative altitude difference of approximately 1000 metres

Eastern Piz de Puez

Departure from Longiarù (Alta Badia) at an altitude of 1474 metres, you travel along the valley, entering under the walls of Antersasc in a wild and isolated environment. We then reach the Puez pass (2517 m) and from here we climb the steep ridge that leads to the summit at 2913 meters: the panorama that opens up before us is boundless… Aurine Alps, Zillertal and Hohe Tauern Alps, group of the Ortles, the great Dolomite peaks of Braies, Tofane, Antelao, Civetta, Sella, Sassolungo and all the sharp peaks of the Odle. For the descent there are two possibilities: you can go down the uphill track (level BS, good skier) or opt for the steep north-west couloir (level required OS, excellent skier).

Travel time: 5 hours for the ascent and 2 hours for the descent.

Where: Gardena Dolomites – Puez Group

Difficulty: challenging trip; a BS level is required (good skier with good technique uphill and downhill off-piste). For the downhill variant along the north-west couloir it is necessary to have an excellent command of steep skiing techniques (OS level, excellent skier). Positive altitude difference approximately 1400 metres, negative altitude difference approximately 1400 metres.

Wilde Kreuzspitze (Peak of the Cross)

Trip in a wild and isolated environment to the highest peak of the Fundres mountains. Departure from Val di Vizze (Vipiteno) in Fussendross (Fossa Trues – altitude 1384 metres). You travel along the long Grossbergtal valley up to the saddle at 2660 meters where you come across the track that comes from the Vipiteno refuge. Continue up to the Karjochl pass up to the ski depot, and then follow the ridge that leads to the summit at 3132 metres: from here a vast panorama opens up, from the Zillertal Alps, to the Dolomites, the Ortles group and the Alps of Ötztal and Stubai. The fun descent takes place along the ascent route.

Travel times: 5/6 hours for the ascent and 2 hours for the descent.

Where: Western Tauern Alps – Zillertal Alps Group

Difficulty: challenging and long trip. Good mastery of off-piste uphill and downhill techniques is required (BS level, good skier). Positive altitude difference 1748 metres, negative altitude difference 1748 metres.

Number of participants: minimum 1 – maximum 5/6 people

Ski mountaineering tour in the Gran Paradiso National Park

Three intense days of ski mountaineering and exploration in the oldest national park in Italy with a climb to the summit of Gran Paradiso at 4061 metres.

Difficulty: challenging trips; Good mastery of off-piste uphill and downhill techniques is required (BS level, good skier).

Location: Graian Alps – Gran Paradiso group – Aosta Valley

Duration: 3 days

Number of participants: minimum 1 – maximum 6 people

Cost: 450 euros per day

Basic ski mountaineering course for beginners

Introduction course to ski mountaineering aimed at those who wish to approach the practice of this fascinating discipline which allows you to experience the winter mountains in a unique way. Requirements for participation are good downhill technique and adequate physical and aerobic preparation.

Difficulty: easy trips suitable for beginners; Good downhill technique is required.

Location: Val Gardena and Dolomites

Duration: 4 days
