DESCRIPTION
Three intense days of trekking for those who want to live an immersive experience discovering the Sciliar and Catinaccio Dolomite groups.
The proposed itinerary includes 3 stages which take place in an area of extraordinary beauty and not very crowded, crossing different types of environments and Dolomite landscapes: valleys crossed by streams, valleys, screes, saddles, heart-shaped alpine lakes, mountain pastures and plateaus …always surrounded by majestic walls, towers, pinnacles.
The overnight stay takes place in the characteristic refuges along the route, to calmly admire the redness of the sunrise and sunset…
The route passes through numerous points of geological and naturalistic interest and tells of myths and legends, as well as the history of mountaineering.
This trek is suitable for expert and well-trained hikers, capable of walking several days in a row on mountain paths, with good physical preparation.
TECHNICAL DATA
- Where: Gardena and Fassa Dolomites
- Difficulty and physical effort: the daily stages vary in length and positive and negative differences in height; the required level is EE (expert hiker). These are daily treks lasting an average of 6 hours (excluding breaks)
- Duration: 3 days
- Period: from July to September
- Meeting point: parking in Bagni di Lavina Bianca (BZ)
- Arrival point: Ortisei (Val Gardena)
Trekking cost: 210 euros for each daily stage (3 days)
Number of participants: minimum 2 – maximum 6 people
- The fee includes the accompaniment of an AMM guide
- The price does not include: half board in a refuge for 2 days, packed lunches or in the refuge, drinks and extras, cost of the return cable car ticket to Ortisei, transfer to/from the starting point
