Winter hike on the Alpe di Siusi

With its 56 km², the Alpe di Siusi is the largest plateau in Europe: in winter its vast snow-covered mountain pastures create an enchanting landscape, an ideal destination for very panoramic winter excursions. The Alpe di Siusi is a natural terrace that offers views and special observation points from which to admire the surrounding Dolomite groups: Sella, Sassolungo and Sassopiatto, Sciliar, Catinaccio, Odle, Puez.

Vallunga and the Juac refuge in the Puez – Odle Natural Park

Enchanting winter excursion that first crosses the Vallunga in a fairytale white landscape, in the magical silence that only winter can offer, surrounded by the imposing rock walls of Stevia and Ciastel de Chedul. The second part of the excursion takes us to the Juac refuge which from its natural panoramic terrace offers a unique panorama of the Sassolungo, Seceda and the Odle in their maximum splendor.

Winter excursion in Val di Funes to Malga Gampen

Easy excursion suitable for families and children in the uncontaminated Val di Funes, a privileged observation point on the sharp peaks of the Odle. We start from the Zans car park just before Malga Zannes at 1680 meters above sea level and from here we follow the beaten track which first enters the fir forest covered in white snow, before arriving at more open expanses which offer a splendid view of the Odle of Eores on the left and on the imposing north faces of the Odle. Arriving at the characteristic Malga Gampen at 2062 meters, we will enjoy the surrounding sparkling spectacle. After an excellent lunch we can go down on foot or by sled along the track that leads to the car park.

Winter excursion to the Fanes refuge, between legend and reality in the Fanes – Senes - Braies Natural Park

Beautiful excursion that takes us to the heart of the Kingdom of Fanes, the mythical people protagonists of the famous Dolomite legend. We will climb from the Pederü refuge to the Fanes Alp, which in winter becomes a vast white plateau offering a fantastic view of the Fanes – Senes – Braies Natural Park and the surrounding Dolomite peaks: Piz de Sant Antone, Col Bechei, Col Toronn, Sas come on Bec… After the stop at the Fanes refuge, we will return on foot or we can do a fun descent with the sled.
