DESCRIZIONE
Suggestive circular excursion at the foot of the Sasso della Croce (Sass dla Crusc in Ladin) which from Furnacia along the Roda de Armentara crosses the bucolic Prati d’Armentara, a very particular expanse of waving high altitude pastures dotted with conifers, huts and biotopes. Continuing along the path you reach the small Sanctuary of Santa Croce with a magnificent view of the imposing walls of Sass Dla Crusc and Sella. After a pleasant lunch break in the refuge, we set off again to close the ring and return to Furnacia.

- Where: Eastern Dolomites of Badia – Province of Bolzano
- Difficulty and physical effort: simple excursion ideal for families and novice hikers. Positive and negative height difference of approximately 400 meters and approximately 9 km in length.
- Travel time: 4 hours plus stops (6 hours total)
- Period: from June to October
- Equipment: sturdy trekking shoes or mountain boots with non-slip soles (such as Vibram); telescopic trekking poles; backpack with: rainproof and windproof jacket, heavy down jacket, water bottle with water/drink and snacks (energy food such as bars or chocolate), spare T-shirt, sunglasses and sun cream, sun hat and headband (type Buff”), backpack cover (rainproof)
