Starting our journey, the very green meadows all around immediately catch your eye, because the <strong>Longiar\u00f9 valley<\/strong> is a place rich in water thanks to the natural sources that arise from the Dolomites, and the &#8220;viles&#8221; (farms in Ladin) that bear witness to life and the traditions of the past. We are walking along the Path of the Mills, a fascinating route that follows the course of the <strong>Rio (stream) Seres<\/strong>, where the 8 mills were built in the rock cliffs which ensured self-sufficiency for the mountain farmers living on the farms. We will visit the charming <strong>village of Seres<\/strong> (a small hamlet of Longiar\u00f9) with its old houses full of details that tell of a past that has remained intact to the present day.
